Witch Head Nebula--Happy Halloween
On 10/30/2024 03:00 am by Andy Dungan| Near Cotopaxi, Colorado USA
Witch Head Nebula was on my list (it is Halloween time). And, then yesterday there was an article about Witch Head so I got out there last night and photographed the Witch Head. Sometimes nebulae really look like there namesake and this certainly is one.
Here is a wider field of view from a the pic I took last year for Halloween with my Canon R. https://ecp.earthsky.org/community-photos/entry/62640/ They certainly look different.
