Amanita

The rainy days have coaxed the mushrooms to emerge from the earth. These are Amanita muscaria, very attractive with large bright red orange caps at least 6 inches diameter and white speckels. Be sure to look only because ingesting them as hallucinogens have ill effects that involve the central nervous system. Consider these beautiful mushrooms poisonous.
