It's brightness fading in the evening sky comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is bidding us earthlings goodbye. It will disappear by early November according to NASA. Astronomers believe it could be another 80,000 years before the comet is visible again, and that's only if it survives its voyage around the solar system.
In the image below the comet very close to the ocean horizon near the white floodlight is Venus setting.
