The Glorious Cosmos

I drove three hours to shoot for three hours and three hours back to capture an image I had in my mind: Comet Tsuchishan-Atlas and the Milky Way over the peaks of Gloss Mountain. It is a crazy busy highway with hundreds of ruined images from cars and trucks, and there is light pollution from a town in the distance, but it was worth every minute!
Canon R5, Sigma 20mm lens, f1.4, 10 second exposure, ISO 500.
Majority of edits done in Lightroom with light masking done in Photoshop to remove satellites and slightly reduce noise.
