Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS setting on the hills west of Urla Iskele, Türkiye

It was a splendid experience to see comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS appear out of the sunset glare even as Venus was setting on the hills. The sky had been quite challenging for days and the city lights added to the difficulty to spot the comet with the naked eye. However, with even a short exposure and a wide field lens, the object is a glorious view with its remarkably long tail. The experience at longer focal length, or with binoculars, was breathtaking. It may not be the comet of the century but it is a very beautiful sight indeed.
Main image Canon 500D, F 24mm, f/5.0, ISO 12,800, on a fixed tripod (no tracking), 10 exposures of 2s; inset (to which the time of 17:16 UTC refers), same camera, F 70mm, 10 exposures of 1s.
Both images are the result of stacking of the 10 frames with Deep Sky Stacker in intersection mode (the comet was not individually tracked). Bias, Dark, and Flat Field calibration frames were applied in each case (10 each). The inset image was very quickly solved by Astrometry.net and easily reopened in ASTAP.
