Rainbow Refraction

As I was capturing the 96.7% full hunter’s supermoon Friday night over Narragansett Bay, there was very distinct distortion of the moon as it broke the horizon through the lower, dense atmosphere. I was excited to find out later that I had also captured a rainbow light refraction along the top arc of the moon.
