Couple Watches Comet

I planned this image out knowing where the comet would be setting in the west, selecting this dock on the lake to have in the foreground, knowing how beautiful sunsets are at this location. I did not expect to have any other viewers there, so I used it to my advantage, asking them if they would mind being in my frame for the making of this image. Pleasant surprise, and I love how it turned out.

Two images, the first taken of the couple with a darker exposure for sunset colors, second taken of the comet with higher exposure to capture the comet with more detail. Both shot from the exact same spot, just with different exposures.
They were blended together for a more dynamic rendering of the viewing experience.
