✨ C/2023 Tsuchinshan Atlas kisses globular cluster M5 - October 15, 2024 ✨
This image was captured just after sunset, until the comet reached 8° altitude, marking the end of the session.
Despite the challenges of twilight and its low position in the sky, the Skywatcher Esprit ED80 and ZWO 2600MC Duo managed to capture this magical moment.
Comet C/2023 Tsuchinshan Atlas appears to "kiss" the globular cluster M5, also known as "The Rose," glowing in the same field. It was a challenging but rewarding experience! 🌠🔭
