Comet C/2023 A3 in the evening sky

Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS put in a brief appearance Saturday evening (10/12/2024), about 30 minutes after sunset. It was naked-eye visible while several degrees above the western horizon, but binoculars were necessary to see the comet before it actually reached the horizon, due to atmospheric haze.
