Desert view comet

We thought and analyzed long and hard about the best place to go, since we are surrounded by hills and mountains. We decided on this spot because the mountains are more distant. Four of us scoped the horizon with glasses-we were excited seeing Venus, we knew it might be close. Finally my friend Marilyn spotted it. We were able to watch for about 25 minutes, which surprised us. The tail was so long! Lots of fun, a gorgeous desert evening.
