Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) from the Eastern Shore of Lake Erie

Was fortunate to find a spot with a great western horizon to chase the comet, as this would be my last clear night until Thursday or Friday. My son-in-law's parents own a home on Lake Erie and were gracious enough to allow me to come over to try and view/capture Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). As you can see from the clouds on the horizon, we were fortunate to beat the incoming front. My son-in-law's mother was the one that found the comet. We viewed the comet with Binoculars and just our eyes, once we found it was indeed naked eye visible. It was fun sharing the evening with my in-laws and one of their neighbors.

Quite an end to a fantastic week of astronomy. We captured the NGC 7331 Group of galaxies from our club's observatory, Aurora on Thursday, and the Comet on Saturday.
