40 mins of Earth's rotation from Lahore!
On 10/06/2024 06:45 pm by Adeel Shafiq| Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
Tonight the waxing crescent was in close conjunction with planet Venus and the sky was relatively much better in clarity and visibility allowing stars to appear in short exposure frames. I decided to capture a timelapse show casing the movement of the crescent moon and planet Venus and the background stars. The western horizons are densely polluted as all downtown Lahore can be seen from my vantage point. The horizontal trail crossing the moon and Venus is of an aeroplane that took off from Allama Iqbal International airport, Lahore.
