Excellent Sunspots! Active Sun
On 10/04/2024 12:20 pm by David Hawkes| Sheffield, UK
Better conditions today but still threading the needle in between clouds and the blue stuff! Some substantial sunspot regions, including AR3842 (the prolific flare maker) centre stage and the considerably sized newcomer AR3848 in the northeast. I’ve labelled the new region in the east (somewhat speculatively) as AR3849. Aurorae to come?
Skywatcher 8” Newtonian, Seymour Solar 9.5” white light glass solar filter, Nikon D3200.
Registax 6 plus some minor edits.
