Orion in its magnificence

Since buying my new equipment and struggling to solve many complicated issues from May through August I have finally reached the point that I can expect to take reasonable astrophotos. What a joy it was to create a photo of Orion. This is so much better than my previous photos (and I'm sure I can do better as I learn more about processing). My increased investment in gear seems to be finally paying off. The clouds of gas actually look like clouds when you zoom in.
