Gator Watches NASA Crew 9 Launch

We were standing on the banks, minutes before the liftoff of NASA Crew 9 on the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. This big gator kept swimming back and forth in front of us. I'm not sure what made me more anxious... counting down to liftoff or this gator eyeballing us all up as if we were a buffet. I waited for him to swim into the frame of my lens with the launchpad centered perfectly behind him. It wasn't during the actual liftoff, which occurred moments later, so to make a more compelling image, I blended in the launch over the original.

Two images were taken, one with the launch pad in the background and gator in foreground but it was minutes before the liftoff occurred. I blended in the liftoff over the original launchpad.
