Bright comet on 28 Sep 24
On 09/28/2024 05:46 am by Jan Curtis| Cheyenne, WY, USA
Comet c/2023 A3 was not visible with binoculars or naked eye despite clear skies. My dLSR camera was easily able to record the comet in a 1 to 2 sec exposure at iso between 160 and 800 (depending for f-stop). The tail of comet was about 2.5 degrees long and the nucleus was about 2.8 magnitude.
