M31 with Fujifilm dSLR

With the Fujifilm X-T5, the sensor resolution is 45mb. As a result, deep sky images can be chopped without loss of resolution. M31 is well placed this time of year for all night viewing.

Taken from Cheyenne, WY under clear Bortle 5.5 skies.

M31 (Andromeda Galaxy). Tech specs: Fujifilm X-T5, Nikkor 180mm f/2.8, exp 231x20s, iso 2000, RAW, cropped. Tracking with Astrotrac. Bright stars are bloated a bit as a result of the open lens. The reduced exposure of 20s was due to bright city skies. The 231 subs helped to reduce noise.

Post-processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.
