Near-Equinox Smoke-Hazed Sun Setting

On Friday 20th September, two days before the Southern Hemisphere Spring Equinox, a magenta coloured smoke-hazed sun was recorded setting almost vertically behind Murahwa Mountain due west of Murambi. Visibility was poor but the accompanying montage and a x12 speed time-lapse video (to be posted as a Disqus comment) were captured before dark clouds, which could have obscured the sunset, approached from the east.
