Partial Eclipse of Full Supermoon.
Early in the morning on Wednesday 18th September, the second in a series of four consecutive Supermoons was observed being partially eclipsed from a viewpoint in Murambi East, between 4.32 and 5.15 am. Visibility was not good due to thick smoke haze from regional dry season burning, but some colourful images and video clips were nevertheless obtained. Fortunately the Moon was still high enough in the sky to be above most of the smoke haze as the partial eclipse by Earth’s Umbra reached a maximum magnitude of 0.085 at 4.44 am.

Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode with maximum zoom magnification.

Compilation of montage of four close-up views of the Moon taken between 4.32 and 5.19 am
