No wonder my tomato plants are looking horrible now...

While trimming tomato plants this morning I found this guy. A "dreaded" tomato hornworm, they can devastate plants, but if they host white eggs on their back, those can develop into beneficial wasps that feed on other hornworms. A hornworm caterpillar can also evolve into a hummingbird moth, which I do see in my backyard and are are quite impressive, so I'm going to watch this guy and see what happens. Gotta love those pretend eyes. Cloudy today so waited for a brief hole in the clouds to appear to capture extra sunlight to accent its face.
