ISS, Crescent Moon, Antares, cloud trails and Iridescence!
On 09/10/2024 06:58 pm by Adeel Shafiq| Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
The International Space Station (ISS) made a fly byover Lahore this evening after sunset emerging from South and moved towards the north east with a bright mag of -3.4. Crescent Moon was illuminated at 43% tonight and was in close conjunction with Antares star in the constellation of Scorpio near the rho ophiuchi. A few high clouds were passing by and moving towards east as well and were being lit up by the moonlight resulting in beautiful display of iridescence. Luckily I was able to capture all this in my frame with long exposure.
