Smokey Red Sunrise over The Last Chance Desert

Sunrise in The Last Chance Desert where I slept after an evening of astrophotography next to the base of Windy Peak @ 6900 feet above sea level. The red sky is a result of the smoke from the fires in Oregon and Idaho. The sky was clear most of evening but by midnight when I stopped capturing the Milky Way on my cameras, I could see that the smoke was on its way towards my location. I checked the Air Now Fire and Smoke map website one day later and the smoke goes out into the Pacific ocean west, south into Mexico and as far east as Iceland.
