A Cosmic Ferry : Celestial Wobble
At the end of the Bengali month of Sraban, the "Srabani Mela-2024" in Alipurduar signifies the end of the rainy season and the onset of autumn. While at the fair, I took the opportunity to photograph the Ferris wheel set against the Milky Way.
The process involved careful planning and patience. While taking the initial photograph, I was concerned about the potential interference of passing clouds. Despite these challenges, I proceeded with the task of combining the images using Photoshop. The goal was to integrate the celestial elements with the lively fairground in a harmonious way.
The editing process required adjusting the images to ensure they complemented each other. It was a rewarding experience to see how different elements could be brought together through photography and digital tools. This journey underscored the importance of perseverance and creativity in capturing and presenting such a unique combination of scenes.
