Elephant Trunk Nebula in Cepheus (elipse is trunk only). There are some spectacular pics of the trunk on the web. This was my second night in row of finally having less clouds and less moon. This was also the first time I used the Askar V with the Canon R. What an improvement taking 10 minute shots makes. There was enough moonless time for 26 10 minute shots. What a joy to finally have my new gear working. I used 100% of the shots I took!
Canon R full spec iso3200, Askar V@600mm f7.5
26 10 minute exposures + flats & darks
AM5/ASIair, EAF, guiding with ASI120mini & Askar 32mm scope
Affinity Photo 2 to stack/process, Starnet2 to separate stars
This one took a little more work than normal because a couple of the large stars were bloated and one had a terrible halo
