The Crescent Nebula and the Soap Bubble Nebula

This is a long-exposure image of the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) in the constellation Cygnus, with the nearby Soap Bubble Nebula (PN G075.5+01.7). This composite was made under suburban skies rated at Bortle class 7 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, on two consecutive nights (August 21 and 22), soon after the full moon of August 19. The Soap Bubble Nebula was also captured here, and can be seen in the lower-left quadrant of the full-resolution version of this photo.
