Aurora & Night Sky

Unaware of Aurora activity, I went outside to see if it was clear enough to capture some of the meteor shower. After taking a few photos, I noticed the light streaks and thought I was getting glare from the new streetlight bulbs the city has been installing, or had somehow gotten my lens greasy. It wasn't until a couple of days later I realized what I saw and was immediately disappointed that I didn't go out to get more shots. I even stupidly deleted a few frustrated at the annoying "lens flare". Story of my life...
