Surprise View! Derbyshire, UK

This one I’ve wanted to do for a while. EarthSky has “Surprise View Car Park” as one of the best star gazing locations in the UK. The “surprise” is the beautiful Hope Valley (pictured).

This shot is taken from the trails near the car park, technically the surprise is a bend in the nearby road which reveals the valley. Nearby is Stanage Edge (think Keira Knightley in Pride and Prejudice).
