Lost, then found!

Spotted this adorable pigeon in my yard. He was resting in the shade, under a chair. He appeared tired. Noticed he had an ankle tag. I spent 3 hours researching and making 6 phonecalls and finally found his owner, who lived 45 minutes away. The bird roamed my yard for the whole day, and I watched him until the owner showed up at 8pm. I was so relieved because there are foxes who are always in the area especially at night. I was happy the owner and bird were reunited!
