Stable auroral red (SAR) arc emission observed over Granite Mountains by photographers in Mono County, CAThe red glow appeared on an outing of the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club Camera Committee, while photographing the Perseid Meteor Shower the group also captured the SAR emission.
