Big Dipper basking in the Auroras

Had a midnight pick up a the local airport by the time we got home the auroras were peaking so I quickly ran in to grab one of the cameras. They were predicting Kp 6 but at time of photo they had spiked to Kp 7.

Canon T1i with 10-24 mm Sygma lens set at 10 mm. Camera settings were 2 second exposure, iso 1600 and F 4.0.
No tripod but sat camera on top of car.

Lightroom where used sliders for exposure, shadows, saturation, texture and clarity (all minor) adjustments.
