Rare Southern California Aurora with Perseid, and Big Dipper peaking out of the desert monsoon.

I went out to the edge of the monsoon near Tumco Ghost Town, not too far from Yuma, Arizona, but in Winterhaven, California and managed to catch the rare southern aurora on the horizon and watched a few neat Perseids roll across the sky. There is a small one on the horizon in this photo. I could not see the aurora like on May 10th, but the camera really did. You can see the Big Dipper peaking out of the clouds on the bottom too. KP went from 6 to 7 tonight.
