If Only the Dipper Could Douse

I went up to Crater Lake to photograph the Milky Way. From my vantage point, the nearby Middle Fork fire became more visible as the cool evening air settled the smoke. With the Big Dipper directly overhead, I couldn't help but wish for some celestial assistance in dousing the fires.
