Jupiter, Mars, Pleiades and Hyades
On 08/06/2024 03:45 am by Steve Wilson| Salina, Kansas USA
With Jupiter and Mars getting closer together, I decided to go out east of town about 6 miles to a darker sky than my backyard to get this photo of Jupiter, Mars, the Hyades as well as the Pleiades star cluster. Took 169 lights, 40 darks at ISO of 1600, 30 seconds each. Was totally amazed at the detail I got with such short exposure times. Am looking forward to doing this again as the weather permits to see Jupiter and Mars get closer.
