There are still thin clouds at low altitudes northwest of Taipei today. The sun did not set until 6:36 pm, and the sky was still very bright at this time. I searched for more than 20 minutes, and finally saw the very thin crescent moon through binoculars in the low sky among thin red clouds! At this time, the crescent moon, which is only 0.9% illuminated, is less than a day away from the new moon, and its altitude angle is only about 3 degrees.
