Waning crescent moon was at 2.3% illuminated this morning just before sunrise and I was able to capture it along with Earthshine in close conjunction with Pollux star of Gemini constellation. The age of the moon was exactly 28 days and the next new moon occurs at 04:14PM on the 4th of August.
