Closer than I normally get to a wasp

Came across this paper wasp (very common during the summer in this part of Nebraska, they usually don't bother people unless feel threatened) and thought I'd see what I could do combining a standard DSLR with a low power microscope lens.

Canon SL2 DSLR, Ernst Leitz-Wetzlar MZI 4X field microscope lens (made in 1953) and expandable Ernst Leitz-Wezlar bellows to attach the lens to the camera and achieve exacting focus. Remote shutter release. Three frames, each 1/5th sec, ISO 800.
