Peppered Sun
On 07/22/2024 04:36 pm by David Hawkes | Sheffield, UK
The Sun is currently peppered with a stream of sizeable sunspot regions just below the solar equator, amongst them AR3751 and AR3761 with cores substantially larger than the Earth and covering several Earths in overall horizontal distance. Imaging tricky due to high levels of cloud cover.
Skywatcher 8” Newtonian, Seymour Solar 9.5” white light glass solar filter, Nikon D3200.
Registax 6 and other edits for contrast highlighting etc.
