Cloudy contentment

I used today's overcast skies to search for damselflies that were not actively hunting, instead they were content to perch on plants growing along the lake's shoreline. This tiny damselfly, just over an inch long, allowed me to get the end of my lens to within an inch of the damselfly's profile. As soon as the sun came out, they became much more active. Dragonflies, which earlier were nowhere to be seen, soon appeared and began zig-zagging just above the lake's surface, looking for prey.
