The branches of the Milky Way

Fanal Forest is a well known place in Madeira Island, known particularly for its magical and mysterious atmosphere, when it is foggy the trees add an even more magical element with their unusual shapes. But at night when the weather allows it, it is a sacred place for astrophotography, with no lighting nearby, we enter a deep darkness where it is ideal for observing the night sky, especially at this time of year where the milky way can be observed throughout the sky.
