Milky Way Rising

Last night was a busy night. I worked on a secret project until 1:30am, then cut over to Moolack Beach. From there, I knew the Milky Way would be rising over the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area and the lighthouse. I wasn't prepared for just how dark it would be. I noticed two things immediately when I stepped out of the car: first, the waves were crashing loud and nonstop. They sounded more like a storm than waves. Second, I could clearly see the Milky Way rise above the ocean before me. This is a single 30-second ISO 640 exposure at 20mm tracked on a Sky Watcher GSI mount with the Sony A7R IV.
