Prolonged Exposure

I had a prime location to watch the legendary fireworks above Yaquina Bay next to the bridge in Newport, Oregon. I used a variety of shutter speeds and ISO settings to capture the display, but this image stood out the most to me. It oversaturates the fireworks while showing the starry sky and the distracted crowd looking for the source of mortar booms coming from the south (photo is facing east).
