RCAF Grumman CSR-110 Albatross Crash Site, Hope Slide, BC, Canada

We found the wreckage of a RCAF CSR-110 Albatross whichg crasshed at the slope of Hope Slide on April 23, 1966. The Hope Slide of 1965 is known as the second largest recorded landslide in Canada. The amount of rocks and debris covering the area is a sight to behold. Getting to the wreckage is no easy task. Out of the 5 onboard the Albatross, only one survived.
