Newly Fledged

In our area, the approximately three month old eaglets are beginning to fledge (take their first flight). This very large fledgling, one of triplets, has only been flying for a couple of days. It's siblings have also fledged and they are very active in the nesting area. In the next few weeks the parents will be teaching them to fish, hunt, and survive.
