Staying Cool

Here in the Northeast, & also the Midwest of the United States, we have been experiencing a brutal heatwave. The "heat dome", which occurs when a high-pressure system traps air near the ground & warms it up, is not forecasted to go away soon. With all the birds and little creatures I have in my yard, I decided to set up little cooling stations. It was nice watching an American Robin enjoying the cool water. It splashed around for a few minutes before flying away.
