Looking for lunch

This green heron was a pleasant surprise since I took the photo at noon and they usually stay fairly well hidden during mid-day, doing their fishing in the early morning and evening. I lucked out taking the photo while its neck was extended, normally the neck is tucked in tight to its body.

Canon SL2 DSLR, Meade ETX90 1250mm OTA, tripod, remote shutter release. The camera uses an x1.6 APS-C sensor, making the 1250mm FL effectively 2000mm.
