Looking for a nighttime snack

I watched this guy for two hours, and he eventually allowed me to get fairly close while he fished along the shoreline of a creek bed. The sun was going down and the light fading fast as it filtered through the tree line. He moved into an area the sunlight still reached and that gave me just enough light to take the final photo of the day. 300mm F/8 1/200th of a second ISO 1250.

Canon SL2 DSLR, Canon 75-300mm lens at 300mm. Handheld, no tripod.
