Dragonflies (Anisoptera) are predatory flying insects belonging to the order Odonata, meaning "toothed ones" in Latin. I've always been drawn to dragonflies — there's something primal and ancient about their design. It's no wonder, dragonflies have been around for 300 million years. That's 100 million years before the dinosaurs!
