Pu'u Holoholoku

This is Pu'u Holoholoku, one of the many cinder cones dotting the base of Maunakea. Pu'u means hill, holoholo means to walkabout and ku is the name of the Hawaiia god of war. So Holoholoku could possibly translate to Ku's roaming place. Well, in juxtapose to it's namesake, this wide open field with a lone cone looks so peaceful.
