Milky Way on a moonless June night
On 06/07/2024 02:15 am by Randy Strauss| Rural eastern Nebraska, away from city lights
I had excellent weather during this moonless night to photograph the Milky Way. By 2 am it was nearly vertical in the sky. Fifty five images taken in three groups, each a 25 second exposure, ISO 6400, then stacked.
Canon 6D Mk II DSLR, Tamron 19-35mm F/3.5 lens, Manfrotto tripod, remote shutter release.
Fifty-five frames stacked in Sequator, combined in Image Composite Editor, then processed in GIMP.
