Lonely Parade of Planets
On 06/04/2024 04:44 am by Stephen Bloodsworth| Prince George's County, Maryland
Montgomery County, Maryland, was socked in from June 1st thru June 3rd with no chance to catch the Parade of Planets in the morning sky. This morning (June 4th) was mostly clear but with clouds and haze on the horizon obscuring Jupiter and Mercury. Saturn was not visible either. Only lonely Mars was left of the Parade (to the right and up from the moon) joined by (I believe) Spica, the brighter of the two stars above the moon.
